ILGA-Europe: poste mis au concours We are working for the equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people all over Europe. ILGA-Europe advocates for the equality of LGBT people at the Council of Europe, OSCE and the European Union as well as at the UN. Our current Executive Director is leaving after four successful years in post, during which the organisation has grown in size and reputation and matured in the depth and complexity of our international engagement. The Job The staff team is organised into four service-areas: Policy, Communications, Programmes and Finance and Administration. Each service area is managed by a director or manager with the support of their staff team. ILGA-Europe values creative and inclusive approaches to work and management through cross-boundary working and participation of staff at all levels in the organisation. We are committed to partnership working and coalitions with a wide range of external organisations and to developing ILGA-Europe as a learning organisation. The Person Educated to degree level you will ideally have academic and/or professional qualifications in relevant areas.You will need excellent written and presentational skills (for which you require a high level of competence in the English language) and an ability to represent the organisation at the European and international institutions. You will have strong analytical skills and a track record of commitment to equality and diversity.Your previous experience must include managing in a professional public or not for profit organisation and a familiarity with the EU and its institutions.
